Life Sciences Professional Outreach Group

The Life Sciences Professional Outreach Group is sponsored by the PMI Mass Bay Chapter and is open to project management practitioners, both PMI members and non-members. Group members gather to discuss a host of different project management topics in the Life Sciences Industry.

Although the Group currently meets in Kendall Sq, Cambridge, any project manager living or working in Greater Boston who finds it convenient to meet at this location for one hour a month (or attend remotely by internet) is most welcomed.

This Group offers the opportunity to attend an informal monthly meeting with other project management peers in the Massachusetts Life Science Industry to:

1. Discuss and share current project issues and receive colleagues’ advice, feedback, and support.

2. Discuss and learn current best practices within the project management profession.

3. Network among fellow life sciences project management colleagues.

The Life Sciences Professional Outreach Group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 6:00pm-7:30pm.

We are currently looking for a new location to host this important event. If you have a room with AV and telephone connection that can seat 20-30 people, please email [email protected]. 

Meetings are  held in the greater Boston Area with information posted in advance on our LSPOG LinkedIn group page and our Chapter website event registration page. Each meeting will also be announced on the PMI Mass Bay Life Sciences Professional Outreach Group page, with registration accessable on the PMI MassBay Chapter website

Please join your fellow chapter members and other industry professionals in learning new things about project management. This is a general roundtable in that it discusses all matters having to do with project management, or those subjects that can benefit project managers in one way or another.
